Bodenman Porch Rebuild
Bodenman
This project located in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle, was one of Boundless Construction’s first projects. This early 1900s craftsmen home was in need of a new front porch. The existing “wrought iron” support column and railing were badly corroded and the decking and stairs were in equally bad shape. The homeowners wanted to go with a new column and railing that complimented the rest of the home. The homeowner actually designed the railing. The idea was to have it function as a privacy screen as well, while still allowing light to filter through.
